Where is Your Heart?

Home Sweet Home,

Oregon

I am back on the West Coast. While my journey in Colorado was put to a pause, the time has finally come to continue the adventure! I moved back home a year ago to keep a close distance to my family while we traveled a rocky road together. This past year has been full of growing pains. I am excited to continue my blog about my new life in Colorado with my new outlook on life.
While they say Home is Where the Heart is.. it always felt as though I may have left some of my heart in Colorado.

What a great freshman year I had at Colorado Mesa University. I can't believe some of the beautiful souls I met and wonderful friends I made. They will forever be close to my heart and I will make more memories with them soon enough. But how blessed was I to have such an adventure filled first year away from Oregon.

I feel a recap coming on!
September:
I hiked my very FIRST Fourteener, Mt.Sneffels
at14,157ft!
Went Cliff Diving in Aspen, CO

Not to mention walking around Downtown Aspen, and stopping on the way home at the Hot Springs! (the free, maybe slightly illegal, entrance)
October:
My Birthday! Also a great day for sunrise hiking through Moab.

Can you say Via Ferrata? Maybe not, but October was also the month I was lucky enough to hike and rock climb "The Iron Road" in Telluride, Co. What an experience!

November:
My first visit to
I was lucky enough to explore lots of Denver, including Red Rocks and Boulder.

Ok Ok, I will spare you the adventures of the entire year. I could go on and on with my adventures of 2012-2013 but it's time to focus on the present. This June of 2015 marks a new beginning in my life and I am committed to make it a positive transition.
I will be purging and packing all of my belongings this week and plan on hitting the road for that dreaded 19 hour drive in about two weeks!
As for now I am working on absolutely stocking FULL an old iphone with music for the road trip,
If you have any roadtrip music please share!

Let's Do THIS!!
